In October of 2015 Lucky Hare began producing craft beer in a 100 plus year old barn located in Hector, New York. In a years time, we began searching for a much larger home for our brewery.
We found our new home in 2018 at the newly built Schuyler County Business Park in Watkins Glen. Our state-of-the-art facility is outfitted with Deutsche Beverage Technology Equipment, allowing us to dramatically increase our production while increasing our craft beer quality. Our annual brewhouse production has increased to approximately 1500 barrels of beer with styles ranging from our traditional flagship ESB to a wide range of IPAs, lagers, kettle sours, barrel aged Russian Imperial Stouts and Belgian Inspired Ales.
In 2022, we expanded our styles to include a wide range of wild ales produced under our "Wild Hare Series". In this series, we highlight locally sourced fruits to age and develop in our 7bbl foeder and local wine barrels.
We are now the proud producer of Glen Ale, reviving a 90 year old beer once produced here in Watkins Glen.
Our brewery here in the Finger Lakes strives to produce the best beer in the area, using as many local ingredients as possible.
